Thijs has been a lawyer since 1999, also a partner at Lieshout Westerhout Lawyers. He is a seasoned expert on collective and individual dismissal, transfer of undertaking, employee participation and terms and conditions of employment. Thijs has more than 20 years of experience in employment law. He guides restructurings in such a way that the best outcome for all labor relations in the company is achieved. Negotiations with unions and works councils (about organizational changes including social plan) are approached pragmatically with optimal efficiency. He works for medium and large (inter)national companies as well as directors and employees. He has successfully completed the postgraduate course in Grotius Employment Law.
